Dawn has lived in the Twin Cities area for the last 30 years and her background includes being part owner of "Home Again Restoration" a company that purchased 10 homes in 2002-2003. The homes were then restored and managed as rental properties or sold as investments. Dawn's role in the business, besides being an owner, was to participate in the remodel projects and supervise the work crews while working alongside them!

In 2004, she joined forces in life as well as in work, with her husband Jim Ohnstad. Together they are listing and selling agents with the Wayzata Office of Coldwell Banker Burnet. They specialize in horse properties, lakeshore, luxury homes, investor property and assisting divorcing couples in the sale of their marital home.
Dawn's Designations Include:


The ePro designation is awarded by the National Association of Realtors to those agents completing extensive course work and the passing of an examination as proof of satisfaction of all requirements to be recognized as a leader in the practice of Online Real Estate, and officially certified as an ePro Internet Professional.
   

The CNHS has completed extensive course work and passed the examination as proof of understanding of the basic principals and knowledge required to professionally assist in sales of new construction properties.
   

The RCC, assures you that your agent has a good comprehension and understanding of building materials, construction styles and techniques, and the basics of home building.
   

The CRS designation is the only professional designation in the real estate industry and is proof of commitment to excellence in all areas of the business. To earn a CRS, an agent must complete an extensive curriculum, and meet the required minimum number of transactions. So, in other words, an experienced, dedicated and more educated agent.

Dawn is also a Certified Home Stager and offers this service free of charge to her clients.
